TRUE STRIVE
In the heart of Saigon, amidst the bustling streets and vibrant markets, lived Thanh, a determined young woman from a low-income family in Vietnam. At just 15, she found herself trapped in a cycle of trauma and depression— a bullying neighborhood, abusive family dynamics, and the harsh realities of her environment loomed over her. Yet, within her, a spark of hope flickered. She longed for a life filled with opportunities, a life far removed from the violence and despair she had known. She boarded the plane with only an empty suitcase and a heart full of hope, leaving behind everything familiar.
When Thanh decided to leave Vietnam, it was both an escape and a leap of faith. She boarded a plane to America with only $700 borrowed from her aunt and $200 for a plane ticket from her gramma. She left behind her three years of education in media production, modeling, media career, and friendships and three years in the clothing business. She believed that this new country would be a place of healing, a blank slate where she could rebuild herself.
Arriving in America was both exhilarating and terrifying. The streets were filled with unfamiliar sights and sounds, and Thanh quickly realized how unprepared she was for this new life. She was in survival mode with no money, no car, average English, and no support network almost immediately. She took on multiple low-wage jobs, working in restaurants and delivering groceries. Each day felt like a relentless cycle of exhaustion and uncertainty; her dreams felt like distant memories.
For eight incredible years, Thanh embarked on an inspiring journey of survival! Despite the loneliness and culture shock, she refused to be invisible in a crowd. Every free moment was a chance to learn and grow—she enrolled in community college, took English classes, and eagerly volunteered for her professors and organizations while juggling multiple jobs. Countless hours in libraries fueled her passion for knowledge, and her determination to build a brighter future shone through. With unwavering spirit, she dedicated her spare time to volunteering, devouring books, and seeking resources and workshops. For six relentless years, she conquered self-doubt, overcame obstacles, and triumphed through every challenge that came her way!
Despite the hardships, she began to see progress. She even received multiple scholarships from her majors and organizations that she volunteered for, as well as awards and recognitions through her leadership of several honor societies she was in charge of in her community college. She learned not just the language but also the intricacies of American culture, the nuances of educational systems and job applications, and the importance of networking. Slowly but surely, her confidence grew. Yet, it was not just her journey she was focused on; Thanh felt a deep desire to help others who shared similar struggles and guide them in the exemplary direction.
As Thanh's language skills and confidence grew, she envisioned a future where her journey could inspire others. She imagined a community uniting immigrants and Americans to share experiences and support one another in building a stronger society.
Drawing from the insights she gained and the lessons from her challenges, she launched a platform centered on connection, empowerment, coaching. It was in this moment of clarity that the concept of TRUE STRIVE emerged.
Thanh knew firsthand the challenges immigrants faced—navigating a new culture with language barriers, finding stable employment, lack of resources, seeking education, isolation, and countless issues. She wanted to create a space where people could find guidance, support, and community. Drawing from her own experiences, Thanh dedicated herself to sharing her acquired knowledge.
With unwavering determination, she devoted herself to helping others save time to achieve their goals and full potential and avoid the pitfalls she had encountered. She organized workshops in her community, sharing practical advice on job hunting, financial literacy, and overcoming cultural barriers. She contacted local organizations, forming partnerships to provide mentorship and resources for newcomers. Slowly but surely, a network began to form, bringing together individuals with similar aspirations.
Her story resonated with many, inspiring those struggling to see the possibility of a better life.
Through TRUE STRIVE, Thanh established mentorship programs that paired newcomers with experienced professionals.
As TRUE STRIVE grows, Thanh's programs are designed explicitly for underprivileged children, international students, and immigrant families. She established mentorship initiatives, connecting experienced professionals with those looking to navigate the complexities of life in America. Her goal was to help people survive and empower them to flourish.
She knew firsthand how valuable guidance could be in navigating a new world, and she wanted to ensure others had access to the resources she wished she had during her early years in America.

Additionally, we educate international investors on the intricacies of investing in U.S. businesses, facilitate pathways to employment, and assist in obtaining 10-year Green Cards. Through our curated travel group tours to Vietnam and other Asian countries, we create opportunities for Americans to build quality connections and explore avenues for overseas business expansion.
